What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing issue, the screw connection of the steering damper may come loose from the mounting adapter. This could result in a loss of vehicle control.
Note: KTM urgently requests owners to stop using the vehicle until the steering damper has been checked and the necessary remedial measure has been implemented.

Note: This KTM POWERPART STEERING DAMPER (part no. 16181T01E) is sold as an accessory for certain 2020-2026 KTM Super Duke R and Super Duke R Evo motorcycles.
If it has been fitted to your vehicle or you have purchased over the counter from a KTM authorised dealers or KTM and WP authorised dealers or Husqvarna and WP authorised dealers, stop using the vehicle and steering damper.
Contact a KTM authorised dealership or contact your place of purchase for support, the recall rectification will be completed free of charge.
