What are the defects?
Due to a software issue, the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may fail to illuminate the visual vehicle speed, turn signals, hazard lights and other critical safety information.
What are the hazards?
A loss of safety system warnings when driving could increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders.
What should consumers do?
BRP will update the IPC software, with an over the air (OTA) update. BRP will contact affected owners to advise that they can either perform the update themselves or schedule an appointment with any authorised dealer to have the update installed, free of charge.
