What are the hazards?

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

What should consumers do?

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing asking them to schedule an appointment with their authorised Volvo dealership to have the repair work carried out, free of charge. The owner should not charge the HV battery until this Safety Recall has been completed.
