What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, some affected vehicles were fitted with an incorrect tyre placard.
What are the hazards?
Vehicles with the incorrect tyre placard are non-compliant with Australian Design Rule 42/04 – General Safety Requirements. There is no safety hazard, and the defect will not affect the performance of the vehicle.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected vehicles should contact their local Nissan dealer to schedule an appointment to have the tyre label inspected and if necessary, replaced with the correct label, free of charge.
