What are the hazards?
A loss of motive power and vehicle control whilst riding or/and a vehicle fire, could increase the risk of serious injury or death to riders, other road users, bystanders and/or damage to property.
What should consumers do?
Repair activity is currently under preparation, once the repair action is available owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Honda Australia Motorcycles asking them to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
Note: Until the rectification is carried out, please check your engine oil level before every ride and if you experience any abnormal engine noise, or vibration occurs, stop riding at once and contact an authorised Honda Motorcycle Dealer.
