What are the defects?
The location of the front and side reflectors fitted to the affected trailers do not comply with the requirements of Australian Design Rule (ADR 13/00).
In Addition, the side marker lamps fitted to the affected trailers do not comply with the requirements of Australian Design Rule (74/00).

What are the hazards?
Incorrectly located reflectors and side marker lamps will reduce the visibility of the trailer to other road users. This will increase the risk of an accident resulting in serious injury or death.
Trailers may not be complaint with ADR 13/00- Installation of Lighting and Light Signalling Devices on other than L-Group Vehicles and ADR 74-Side Marker Lamps.
