What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, the tow bar hitch may not have been welded to the required specifications and could detach from the tow bar whilst driving.
Note: Whilst towing a caravan/trailer, it would remain attached to the tow vehicle if the safety chains have been correctly fitted.
