What are the defects?
The forward-facing seat brackets in the rear compartment of the campervan do not comply with the requirements of Australian Design Rule (ADR) 5/06 - Anchorages for Seatbelts and may fail.
What are the hazards?
In the event of an accident, if the seat brackets fail and the seatbelts do not operate as intended, it will increase the risk of death or serious injury to vehicle occupants.
What should consumers do?
AMH Products will contact affected vehicle owners in writing requesting that they make an appointment to have the seats brackets rectified, free of charge.
