What are the defects?
Due to a software issue, if a vehicle occupant places an obstruction such as a body part in the window space when the driver or passenger side windows are closing, the window may not automatically reverse and may exert an upward force greater than the design intent.
What are the hazards?
If the driver or passenger side window auto reverse function does not operate as intended, it can increase the risk of serious injury to vehicle occupants.

Note: An incorrect software update may have been installed on affected vehicles when recall REC-006100 / Ford recall reference 24C24 was carried out.
