What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing issue, the motorcycle rear frame fastener may not have been adequately secured to the main frame. As a result, it may lead to a reduction of structural integrity and potentially the rear frame loosens or/and fracture.
What are the hazards?
If the frame becomes loose or fractured whilst riding it could increase the risk of serious injury or death to rider and/or passenger.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected motorcycles should contact their nearest Energica service centre or Australian Electric Motor Co to arrange an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
