What are the defects?
Vans may have been incorrectly fitted with spring leaves on the rear axle which are 1mm too thick, which could cause the spring to break unexpectedly. Should this occur, and depending on the breaking point, it may no longer be possible to safely control the vehicle in critical driving situations.
What are the hazards?
Vehicle malfunction.
