It is possible for seat belt pre-tensioner units to activate unnecessarily when the ignition is switched on.
What should consumers do?
Contact your MG Rover Dealer. MG Dealers will fit a protective tube to the wiring harness. Note: MG dealers will commence this recall about 5/1/02.
