What are the defects?

The plug connection from the wiring harness to the blower controller may deteriorate over time. This may cause the plug-in contact to short circuit or overheat.

What are the hazards?

If the plug-contact short circuits or overheats, this may cause a fire. A vehicle fire could increase the risk of an accident, serious injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.
