What are the defects?
Mitsubishi’s Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) uses a system of intelligent sensors to scan for obstructions ahead and issues a visual and audio alert where there is a danger of collision, automatically applying the brakes to avoid collision or reduce impact. Due to incorrect operation of the software, the FCM system may continue to apply the brakes even though it is no longer necessary to avoid a collision or reduce impact.
What are the hazards?
